By reaction of 6-mercaptopurine (Ia), with acetoxyhydrargyriobenzol resp. mercuric acetate the 6-(phenylhydrargyriothio)-purine (IIa) resp. bis-(6-purinylthio)hydrargyrium (IIIa) was obtained. Analogically were prepared from starting compound Ib-Id the 2-amino-6-(phenylhydrargyriothio)-purine (IIb), its 9-(1-ß-Dribofuranosyl)-derivative (IIc), 4-(phenyl-hydrargyriothio)-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin (IId), bis-(2-amino-6-purinylthio)-hydrargyrium (IIIb), its 9,9’-bis-(1-ß-D-ribofuranosyl)-derivative (IIIc) and bis-(4-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidylthio)-hydrargyrium (IIId).
